Suriya has now set all his focus on ‘Ezham Arivu’ and considers it as his magnum opus… The actor has been taking scrutinizing efforts to make it the best of his career. Now we hear it from the closer sources that he plays the role of a circus clown and another one as a Chinese martial arts expert before 2000 years in China.

The actor had to look fatigue and tired without food and continuous as a clown for a particular sequence in the movie. Merely for this scene, he remained without food and water and started looking pale. Even his father Siva Kumar started yelling at him in his house.

ks like director A R Murugadoss is not ready to spare any popular landmark in Chennai to shoot his forthcoming venture ’7am Arivu’ which has Suriya and Shruthi Haasan in lead roles.

After canning some important scenes at Rangnathan Street, Old Mahabalipuram Road and G N Chetty Road, the director and his team were recently spotted at IIT-Madras, one of the top institutions in the country.
According to sources, Murugadoss shot few scenes on the lead pair on the sprawling campus of the IIT-M, at a midnight recently. “The shooting is on its final stages of completion,” they add.
Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies, Suriya and Murugadoss have come together for ’7am Arivu’ after ‘Ghajini’. Touted to be a sci-fi thriller, the film has music by Harris Jayaraj.

Surya is acting in a short film which is based on creating an awareness among the voters. Few stars like Surya, Karthi Shivakumar, Jayam Ravi, Vijay Anthony, Suhasini Mani Ratnam and Rohini took part in a short fim produced by Election Commission. The short film was realsed in Tamil Nadu to create awarness amoong the voters on how important is voting.
Tamil Nadu Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Kumar said, “This shor film is being made to create awarnesas and educate the people about the importance of vote. Former President A.P.J.Abdul Kalam and the film celebrities who don’t have any association with the political parties have appeared in the short film. Media plays a major role in bringing the voters to the polling stations’
This short film is just a part of awareness campaign and the elections are going to take place on April 13th 2011.

Surya’s Maatran begins shoot on April 10th

Surya’s next venture after 7aam Arivu, Mattran, to be directed by KV Anand will kick start with its hoot from the 10th of April states reports.
Surya is currently located in Chennai for the song sequence shoot of AR Murugadoss’s 7aam Arivu, which is said to be a costliest song in Tamil movie.

The movie’s production is taken care by Kalpathi S Agoram, under the banner AGS Entertainment.

It is said that Surya will be playing Siamese twins in the movie. Siamese twin also called Conjoined twin, are identical twins whose bodies are joined. The film’s music will be scored by Harris Jayaraj.

KV Anand is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming film KO, while Surya will be finishing his world with 7aam Arivu and begins the shoot for Matran.

Even as a host of film stars busy campaigning for political parties they are in support of, a section of actors have asked voters to exercise their franchise without fail during the 13 April elections to Tamil Nadu Assembly.

Suriya, ‘Jayam’ Ravi’, Karthi Sivakumar, Rohini, Suhasini Mani Ratnam and Vijay Antony are those from the tinsel town who are part of a short film produced by the Election Commission.

“The need to exercise one’s franchise has been highlighted in the short film. It would be screened to the general public to create awareness. Former President Abdul Kalam, film personalities without any party affiliation have appeared in it,’ said Tamil Nadu Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Kumar on Friday.

Releasing the film in Chennai, he said the EC is committed to do everything to ensure free and fair polls and the media plays a major role in bringing people to the polling booths. “The film is as part of our awareness campaign,” he said.

Surya’s 7aam Arivu audio launch on Mid of April

The audio launch will be held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium where he will perform trapeze stunts, a 10 ball juggle, the human pyramid and 10 other adrenaline pumping stunts with real professionals who have been specially roped in to perform alongside the star.
7aam Arivu has Surya playing Anwar Basha opposite Shruti Haasan who will be playing the very gorgeous Shalini as Surya’s love interest.
The star actor has developed a special interest for the 10 ball mastery trick and those who have seen him are confident that he can even challenge real circus masters now with his newly acquired skill. “The actor has been trained in acrobatics from a circus company in Coimbatore and needless to say he mastered the tricks easily with his ever swift approach”, revealed a close source from the circle. Now apart from being a trapeze artist we are told that he will also be playing an animal trainer.
As far as release is concerned the movie has now shifted from an expected June to an August, 2011 as planned by Producer Udhayanidhi Stalin of Red Giants Banner. The post production is a major cause for the delay as AR Murugadoss will be brushing up some special effects as soon as the movie completes in mid-March.The movie will also be dubbed in Telugu .

The Sivakumar brothers, Suriya and Karthi, have made their contribution to the election fever that is gripping the state. They will appear in a short film for the Election Commission that spreads awareness about the importance of the individual vote. Many people from all sections of society refrain from exercising their constitutional right and this is exploited by corrupt politicians.
